1. Who we are
iRestWEB is a web and app development agency. For the purposes of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (5741-1981) and the EU GDPR (where applicable), iRestWEB is the data controller for personal information you submit through this website.
2. What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to share with us, plus the technical minimum needed to operate the site:
- Information you submit via the contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), service interest, budget range, and your project brief.
- Inquiries you send by email or phone (we keep a record of the conversation to respond and follow up).
- Server-side technical data: IP address, browser, language, referring URL, and request timestamps — kept in standard server logs.
- A locale-preference cookie so the site remembers your language choice (English, Hebrew, Arabic).
3. Why we use it
Your data is used solely for the purposes below. We do not profile you, sell your data, or share it for marketing.
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
- Deliver the services you have engaged us for.
- Send transactional updates (project status, invoices) — never marketing, unless you opt in.
- Keep the site secure and operational (anti-spam, rate-limiting, error tracking).
- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
4. Legal basis
Under Israeli law (the Privacy Protection Law) and the GDPR, we rely on the following bases: your explicit submission of the contact form (consent), the necessity of processing to perform a contract you requested, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and answering inbound inquiries.
5. How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an active engagement requires longer retention. Server logs are kept for 90 days. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see your rights below.
7. Your rights
Israeli law gives you the right to inspect the information we hold about you and to request correction or deletion. Under the GDPR (where it applies to you), you additionally have rights to portability, restriction of processing, objection, and to lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@irestweb.com — we will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
All traffic is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate-limited, and protected against bot abuse. Your message is stored encrypted at rest in a database that is isolated from the public internet and accessible only to authenticated administrators.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at info@irestweb.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. Substantive changes are announced on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
